Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using the Biz SaaS platform.

Welcome to Biz SaaS. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Biz SaaS platform at app.biz-saas.com and related services. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms.

Section 1

Definitions

Platform

The Biz SaaS web application and mobile app.

Account Owner

The person or entity that creates a business account.

Staff

Users invited to an account by the Account Owner.

Customer

End-users who book appointments through the platform.

Entity

A business location or branch within an account.

Section 2

Account Registration

To use Biz SaaS, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Each account supports up to 7 entities (locations). You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

Section 3

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform’s infrastructure
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the platform
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
  • Impersonate other users or businesses
  • Use the platform to send unsolicited communications (spam)

Section 4

Subscriptions & Billing

Biz SaaS offers a 14-day free trial. After the trial, continued access requires an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. All payments are processed through Stripe.

Prices displayed in your account currency

Upgrades

Prorated for the remaining billing period

Downgrades

Take effect at the start of the next billing cycle

Cancellation

Cancel anytime; access continues until period ends

Section 5

Payment Processing

If you use Stripe Connect to accept payments from your customers, you agree to Stripe’s Connected Account Agreement. Biz SaaS facilitates payment processing but is not responsible for payment disputes between you and your customers.

Section 6

Refund Policy

Refunds for customer bookings are managed according to the refund policy configured by the Account Owner. Biz SaaS supports automatic refunds, policy-based refunds, and manual refund processing. Subscription refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support for assistance.

Section 7

Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you upload or create on the platform, including business information, customer records, booking data, and uploaded files. Biz SaaS acts as a data processor on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent to collect and process customer data.

Section 8

Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party providers, network issues, or force majeure events.

Section 9

Staff & Permissions

Account Owners are responsible for managing staff access and permissions. The platform supports granular role-based access control (Admin, Manager, Staff, and specialized roles). Account Owners should regularly review and update permissions to ensure appropriate access levels.

Section 10

Intellectual Property

The Biz SaaS platform, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by Biz SaaS. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform. Your business branding, content, and data remain your property.

Section 11

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Biz SaaS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Section 12

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from the account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow export, after which it will be permanently deleted.

Section 13

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Section 14

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
